Buckeyes Football!!!

Nothing says "It's fall" like the return of Ohio State Football.

Right, I'm in my favorite spot. Buckeyes game on TV... relaxing on the couch... computer on my lap!!!

Fall is here and the Buckeyes are back!!!

Buckeyes draft Pryor!!!

The Buckeyes signed a winner... Awesome! And maybe the best part of it (sorry Joel), but he picked the Buckeyes of "Gagigan" (Michigan). Way to go Pryor!!!

It will be great to have a young talent like Pryor learning the ropes this season and be ready to step in as needed (I've never been a big fan of Boeckman. But this kid is pretty talented.

Here are a few of his stats from this ESPN article:
"Pryor, the No. 4-rated player in the ESPN 150, has left a legacy:

• In football, he became the first Pennsylvania player to pass and rush for more than 4,000 yards.

• He helped the Jayhawks win back-to-back WPIAL football championships, advancing to the last two PIAA Class AA title games, triumphing this season.

• The football team went 30-2 over the last two seasons, including 16-0 this season.

Pryor, a rare 6-6, 230-pound physical specimen, will concentrate on football at Ohio State.

"Everyone says he's a can't-miss player," Jeannette coach Ray Reitz said. "Not too many 6-foot-6 athletes can run a sub 4.3 40[-yard dash]."

I almost can't wait until August!!! Go Bucks!

Another year... Another disappointment...

I sat and watched with excitement last night as the Buckeyes seemed to take control of the BCS Championship Game and jumped out to an early 10 point lead. I thought to myself, "Last year's embarrassment is behind us and this will be the year."

But then suddenly things turned. 31 unanswered points and 3 turnovers later, it didn't look so good. They killed themselves. You can't win games if you turn the ball over and they turned it over too many times and at times when they really needed to score. Beanie ran well... but Boeckman threw a couple of interceptions and had a fumble that I think was a bit questionable and it was all downhill.

So I sit with another January of disappointment. 2002 seems so long ago and it seems like an eternity until August.

Big Game Tonight... Go BUCKEYES!!!!

Tonight's the big night...

The BCS National Championship Game between my Ohio State Buckeyes and LSU Tigers. I have purposefully not said much on my blog so as not to jinx the game tonight (last year I made a big deal about how bad the Buckeyes were going to win and then they didn't).

But tonight is the night.

Everyone has been saying that the Buckeyes don't belong. But tonight, they will show everyone that they do!

Go BUCKEYES!!!

Rose Bowl Bound!!!

Final:
Ohio State: 14
Michigan: 3

Big Ten Champs!!!!

Rose Bowl Bound!!!!

Ohio State... Still leading...

Here's what I'm getting tired of...

Ohio State is still leading... 4Q... 13:52... 14 - 3!!!

The commentators are basically pulling for Michigan... Chad Henne this... Chad Henne that... Llyod Carr... blah blah blah... Its like I'm watching a game being televised on local TV from Ann Arbor rather than a nationally broadcast game by a national network... Brent and Kirk stink!

Jim

Ohio State... 14... Michigan... 3... 3Q 13:51

Ohio State: 14
Michigan: 3
3Q 13:51

62 yard run by Wells!!!!

Go Buckeyes!!!

Ohio State... 7... Michigan... 3... 2Q 10:07

Wells scores!!!!

Ohio State: 7
Michigan: 3
2nd Quarter... 10:00 minutes left...

Go Buckeyes!!!

Today's the BIG day at the BIG house...

5-1...
That's currently the record between the Buckeyes and the Michigan Wolverines...

Today, it goes to 6-1... the Buckeyes winning 6 out of 7 games. And gets a little revenge from last week's game of no-calls versus Illinois (that probably cost them the game).

About 90 minutes until the game!!!

ESPN 360!!!

I love ESPN 360!

Recently we discovered that if you have AT&T Internet (which we do both at the office and at home), you can surf over to ESPN360.com. And what you will find is that you can watch live games that aren't on TV. And you can also watch replays of previous games!!!!

This is incredible. And the stream that is sometimes herky-jerky on live streaming stuff like this on the Internet, is actually pretty good.

Right now, I'm enjoying some morning Starbucks (Christmas blend) and watching a replay of last weekend's Ohio State loss to Illinois (normally I won't care to watch, since I know the outcome... but I've heard several reports of poor officiating and several have asked me for my comment... so I thought I would watch and get an opinion so I can comment).

If you've got AT&T... go for it. It's great!!!

Jim

Go Buckeyes!!!

I just got done watching my Ohio State Buckeyes roll the Penn State Nittany Lions...

It was a great game... for the Buckeyes... hehe... 37-17 (but it wasn't really that close... the Lions got a cheap last minute kick off return).

#1!!!!

And staying #1!!!
