Almost a month after the first Sonic Drive-In to open in the area, Jackie and I finally had some Sonic today!!! (Check out the first attempt HERE.)
Some of you are spoiled... especially living in the South... and having a Sonic on every corner. We, in the Chicagoland area, had none... until mid-August.
After multiple attempts over the last couple of weeks... we finally got in today.
And it was:

Jackie and I both had "fried ice cream blast" and we shared a "strawberry limeade."
It was truly something to smile about!

About the time you all got a Sonic, we've gotten a couple of Eat-In Sonic's. They still have the drive-in order method, but now people can go in and eat too.
