Starbucks and the welcome

Jackie and I are sitting in Starbucks killing some time while we wait
for an oil change. I've been to this one several times. But most of
the time I have head phones on... Today I do not. And I've noticed
that consistently with every customer that comes in, this barista
welcomes them with a hello.

It got thinking about our ministry. We are pretty good at the up-
front-welcome... But how good are we at the individual glad-to-see-you
welcome??? As good as Starbucks?

With every customer that comes in, she consistently creates that
welcoming environment.
